DOKK2020 – Digital Education Conference and Exhibition

The Digitális Jólét Program (DJP), (Digital Success Programme), is organising the third Digital Education Conference and Exhibition (DOKK) between 14-16 October 2020, which for the first time is held in online format due to the ongoing pandemic. Among the main topics of the conference can be found those innovative pedagogic and technologic solutions that can be effectively utilised in distance teaching, opportunities of institutional and human resources development, as well as Hungarian and international good examples.

2020 is the year of changes, the extraordinary international situation in which we found ourselves has affected all areas of our lives, including education. That is why the DOKK2020 – organised by the Digitális Pedagógiai Módszertani Központ (DPMK), (Digital Pedagogic Methodolgy Centre), belonging to DJP – is putting great emphasis on unfolding the consequences of the pandemic.

How can one become a better teacher through digitalisation? What are the international experiences about the digital conversion of public education regarding digital competencies? What is needed to know about being of mature age for digital schools and the effects of distance education? How does digital competence appear within NAT and the General Curriculum? These are just some of the available speeches at this year’s conference. Among the speakers there are Ádám Horváth, head of DPMK and deputy head of profession, Zoltán Loboda, head of division, Digitális Kompetencia Divízió (DKD), (Digital Competence Division), Krisztina Genáhl, professional head of EFOP 3.2.15 – VEKOP-17, Júlia Kapcsáné Németi, senior digital developer, DPMK, and Angéla Bajzáth, digital pedagogic expert of DPMK – just to mention a few.

Participation in the conference is free but registration is required.

This conference is part of the EFOP-3.2.15–VEKOP-17-2017-00001 “Measuring-evaluating and digital developments connected to the general system of public education, forming and renewing innovative education-organising procedures” special EU project.
